Aside from the obvious appeal of kangaroos, this walk was all about quiet sounds. The occasional raindrops, the rushing of the river, and the squawking of the cockatoos. Everything is so green in the winter when it's raining every day.
It's easy to forget when you haven't been in a while how restorative a little walk in the woods can be.
